Baseball

Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams, typically consisting of nine players each. The objective of the game is to score runs by hitting a ball thrown by a pitcher with a bat and running around a series of bases arranged in a diamond shape. The team in the field attempts to get the batters and runners out through various means, such as catching batted balls, throwing the ball to bases before runners arrive, or striking out batters. The game is divided into innings, with each team having a turn to bat and a turn to field in each inning. The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins. Baseball is often referred to as America's pastime and has a rich history and culture associated with it, being played professionally in leagues such as Major League Baseball (MLB). The sport emphasizes strategic thinking, teamwork, and athletic skill.
