Weather
Weather refers to the atmospheric conditions in a specific area over a short period of time, typically hours to days. It encompasses various elements including temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind speed and direction, visibility, and atmospheric pressure. Weather describes the current state of the atmosphere, such as whether it is sunny, rainy, snowy, windy, or cloudy. It is different from climate, which refers to the long-term average of weather patterns in a region over extended periods, typically 30 years or more. Weather can change rapidly, influenced by various factors, including geographic location, time of year, and atmospheric dynamics. Meteorology is the science that studies weather phenomena and forecasts short-term atmospheric conditions.
